Michael Addo is a professor of Law in the USA and in the UK. Mr. Addo has established an international reputation as an expert in human rights, and a leading scholar in the field of human rights and international business policy through his research, teaching and policy engagement. He has produced 90 publications, including four books and several articles in leading international journals. He has supervised and examined (internally and externally) over thirty doctoral works. More recently, he has dedicated particular attention in research to two broad aspects of international human rights law - human rights and international business policy and in the mainstream international human rights field of evidence-based international human rights law.
Amrisha Pandey is enrolled as a lawyer (Advocate) in Indian Bar Council with life-time membership. She completed her graduation degree of BA LLB (Hons) in 2011 from Department of Legal Studies and Research Bhopal University in India and held a Diploma in Dispute Management from Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation, Cochin. She holds a master's degree titled as the 'LLM in International Environmental Law' (2012-13) from the School of Law, University of Nottingham, (U.K.). And recently finished her PhD from School of Law, the University of Leeds in the U.K. the topic of her research is 'Regulation of Freshwater and the Access to Right to Water in India' (2015-2019).
She had participated in the Summer Courses on Public International Law from 10th July to 28th July 2017 held in The Hague Academy of International Law, The City of Hague, and generously funded by The City of Hague, Netherlands. She is shaping to be an international law scholar with her remarkable presence and academic contribution to international conferences and forums. Her passion for water law, in particular, has allowed her at an early stage of the research career to be involved as the panel member of the Task Force on Water Quality and Water Security with International Water Resources Association in collaboration with UNESCO. The report published by the panel is available online as – Developing a Global Compendium on Water Quality Guidelines, 2018.
Alison Xu holds an LLB from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2011, and a LLM (with distinction) from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in 2014, and a PhD from University of Leeds, U.K. under the scholarship jointly provided by the University of Leeds and China Scholarship Council.
Dr Xu was admitted to the Chinese bar in 2011. She worked as a guest lecturer at London South Bank University, a teaching and research assistant at the University of Leeds. Dr Xu's main research interests are in the field of private international law, and she has published several papers both in Chinese and English. Distinguished institutes in this area acknowledged her research achievements. She was awarded Hague Scholarship from Hague Academy of International Law in 2016, Academic Achievement Prize from China Society of Private International Law in 2017, and the writing contest prize from China Guided Case Project of School of Law, Stanford University in 2018.
